In the beginning...

I am super lucky because my family has always provided for me the gift of travel. However, my mother, a true patriot, always said that America is so big and diverse, that there are so many things to see here. I grew up with trips to California, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Texas, Colorado, Florida, the Carolinas, etc., etc., etc.

When I was a bit older my mother and I started traveling the the Caribbean and I left my heart in Turks and Caicos. It seemed to me that each new part of the world I visited was more beautiful than the last and I needed to explore it all.

I booked a flight to Japan, then to Thailand, then Central America and Europe. I leave a little piece of me wherever I go, falling deeper and deeper in love with this awe-inspiring world. Now, I have my ticket to cross another continent off my list, South America.
